THINK FORWARD is one of PGF’s five Core Values. We’re always looking for ways to create new, unexpected experiences using soft materials. That’s why we jumped at the chance to collaborate on an innovative (dare we say futuristic?!) project with Invisible Thread, Intangible, and Mikele Schnitman for Portland State University School of Business’s Elevating Impact Summit. Tapping our respective expertise, we created three large-scale fabric panels lit by responsive projection mapping. The panels were activated by physical touch, responding in live time with shifting images and colors.

Portland State University School of Business’s Elevating Impact Summit is a full-day social innovation experience in downtown Portland. Each year it brings together speakers, performers, and guests to discover entrepreneurial approaches to addressing complex social, environmental, and economic challenges. Teams from across Oregon take part in the event to build a thriving entrepreneurial team culture. In addition to TED-talk style presentations and discussion panels exploring The Edge Effect in entrepreneurship and social innovation, the event features original artwork, which also interprets The Edge Effect.
