We first met local artist/craft activist, LeBrie Rich, a few years ago when she started collecting PGF fabric scraps for her teen sewing workshops in public libraries (more on the Cozy Project HERE). We were thrilled to have a chance to collaborate with LeBrie on a multi-generational sewing workshop at PGF. Over the course of a recent Sunday, 30 volunteers, of all sewing levels, filled our studio and made 34 sturdy totes for Rose Haven, a local community center for women experiencing trauma. Thank you to all who came out for this inspiring event and to Cherry Sprout Produce for keeping us well fueled in the snack department. You can be sure this is just the first of many workshops, because as LeBrie says, "crafting together is life affirming"! Sign up for PGF's mailing list to be the first to know about upcoming events!
