OSMOSE X PAM CUT

SOUND BAFFLING WALL ART

The Portland Art Museum’s Center for an Untold Tomorrow (PAM CUT) reimagined a notorious SE Portland adult movie theater, turning it into a dazzling new art cinema and multimedia storytelling venue.

PGF and Studio Howard, worked closely with interior design powerhouse, Osmose Design, who transformed the theater with their wildly imaginative touch. The design team at Studio Howard upcycled bed sheets and blankets to create the sound baffling wall art in the auditorium; a nod to the theater’s past as one of Portland’s longest running adult film theaters.
