It was truly PGF’s honor to dream up & create an epic backdrop for the legendary Sun Ra Arkestra. Performing in Portland for the first time in 29 years, the Sun Ra Arkestra put a spell on the crowd as they played in front of a giant cosmic eyeball with eyelashes that extended into the audience. PGF was humbled to play a small part in that evenings’ magic, as well as make costumes for the accompanying exhibition, “Monuments: The Earth Expedition of Sun Ra” at the Portland Art Museum.
