HEART ROASTERS

FABRIC PAINTING

When Heart Roasters commissioned an art piece for their Downtown Portland cafe, we knew we wanted to make a work that would compliment their minimalist vibe, while also bringing in soft textures. Made from sewn fabric pieces, we call it a "fabric painting"—although no paint was used—not only because it's mounted on a wood frame, but also because the work evokes the calming mood of a tonal abstract painting.
